Call for Cases
Share a Case. Challenge Your Colleagues. Support Lifelong Learning.
Do you have an interesting, challenging, or memorable case that would make an excellent learning opportunity for your colleagues?
Case of the Day will feature challenging, image-based cases presented over two days of the meeting. Participants will independently interpret each case, submit their answer, and then receive the expert answer, rationale, and references.
We are looking for cases that will make participants pause, think, and learn.
Case Development Criteria
Open call for case submissions from November 2nd – January 11th. Cases should be educationally valuable, relevant to radiologists and trainees, and appropriate for a PGY-4 level.
Each submission must:
- Present a meaningful diagnostic or interpretive challenge.
- Include a clearly identifiable abnormality or key imaging finding.
- Provide relevant clinical history.
- Primarily use a single imaging modality (with a second modality included only when educationally justified).
- Contain static images suitable for electronic presentation.
- Have a clearly defined best answer.
- Support meaningful self-assessment.
- Include an explanation/rationale and key references.
- Be fully de-identified and free of patient identifiers.
- Demonstrate sufficient educational value for inclusion.
Cases may be common or uncommon.
The goal is not to select the rarest or most obscure diagnosis. The goal is to create a meaningful learning opportunity.
