New for 2027: Personalized Learning Tracks

To help delegates make the most of their conference experience, CAR 2027 is introducing dedicated learning tracks throughout the program. Developed in response to member feedback, these tracks provide greater clarity and make it easier to identify content that aligns with individual learning goals. Whether you’re seeking trainee and early-career sessions, comprehensive reviews of core radiology practice, or advanced subspecialty content, you’ll be able to move freely between tracks and create a personalized educational experience tailored to your needs and interests.

New for 2027: Case of the Day Challenge

Put your diagnostic skills to the test with our new Case of the Day program. Each day, delegates will have the opportunity to work through 10 engaging cases featuring interesting findings, uncommon presentations, and rare diagnoses from across the spectrum of radiology practice. Designed to be both educational and interactive, this daily challenge offers a unique way to sharpen your clinical reasoning, compare approaches with colleagues, and deepen your learning. Delegates who participate will also be eligible to claim Section 3 credits, making it a rewarding addition to their conference experience.

Returning in 2027: Enhanced Accessibility with Wordly – Real-Time Translation for Plenary Lectures

The CAR is excited to announce that we will once again offer the translation service Wordly to provide real-time translation for all Plenary Lectures.

Creating an inclusive experience for all our members and participants is a top priority. Through Wordly, participants will now have the option to access these sessions in French via live audio and captions. This technology makes it incredibly easy to engage with our educational content in your preferred language, ensuring a more accessible and inclusive environment for our Francophone members and participants.

CAR 2027 will offer four days of high-quality didactic educational programming, thoughtfully curated by the Annual Scientific Meeting Planning Committee, in collaboration with the CAR Affiliate Societies, to specifically target topics of perceived and unperceived needs.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Start your CAR 2027 experience with one of our two engaging pre-conference workshops designed to provide practical skills, meaningful connections, and professional growth.

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Workshop

Enhance your expertise through a half-day, hands-on learning experience led by leading MSK ultrasound experts from across Canada. This interactive workshop combines live demonstrations, focused didactic lectures, and supervised scanning opportunities to help participants refine their skills and confidence. With a focus on the shoulder and ankle, delegates will explore imaging techniques, image optimization strategies, and established scanning protocols while gaining practical insights they can immediately apply in clinical practice.

CAR Radiology Leadership Program “Kick-Off” Meeting

Start your leadership journey through the next cycle of CAR’s Radiology Leadership Program. This half-day event features expert-led sessions exploring topics such as the importance of medical leadership, the distinction between leadership and management, and strategies for leading effectively through uncertainty and change. With contributions from respected leaders in healthcare and executive leadership, participants will benefit from interactive discussions, networking opportunities, and a dedicated leadership dinner. The workshop serves as the launch point for a year-long program designed to empower radiologists to become confident, collaborative, and strategic leaders within their organizations and the broader healthcare system.
