Advanced –RADS Structured Reporting Workshop:
Below the Diaphragm
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be postponing the virtual Advanced -RADS Structured Reporting Workshop: Below the Diaphragm until the fall. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Should you have any questions, please contact jniles@car.ca.
This interactive virtual workshop builds on the foundation set in the basic -RADS Structured Reporting 1.0 Workshop. For each -RADS section, the workshop will be facilitated by sub-specialists and will cover the interpretation of cases with suggested reporting templates. The -RADS Below the Diaphragm Workshop (LI-RADS, PI-RADS, O-RADS) will provide participants with an opportunity to simulate real case reporting and review cases with the benefit of individualized feedback from instructors. The intent is to give the more proficient reader insight into the nuances and pitfalls of the RADS categories and share a range of more complex cases to challenge our understanding.
Participants will be given access to the cases, as well as background reading material for each section in advance of the workshop, to ensure ample time to discuss pearls and pitfalls of interpretation in the various subsections during the workshop itself.

Learning Objectives
Through active participation in this interactive simulation workshop, participants should be able to:
- Score a range of imaging cases and recognize the nuances of management using -RADS scoring systems to minimize ambiguity and facilitate appropriate patient care.
- Utilize demonstrated standardized reporting templates to report on cases based on -RADS scoring systems for the area under discussion.
- Recognize common pitfalls and mimics in interpreting cases across body parts and systems when using -RADS scoring.
Target Audience
This workshop is designed for practicing radiologists who have integrated structured reporting into their workflows and are interested in honing their advanced skills regarding -RADS scoring. Participants are encouraged to have taken –RADS 1.0, however this is not a pre-requisite as the attendee may already have acquired practical experience using the -RADS structured reporting.
